Hello,

I wanted to change a user profile, after I changed the login name+password+Email+puplic name.

It changed, but i still got the message that there is no user with this name!

Is there another file I should change this user name or?

Changing the login name of a user is a bad idea. The user's login name is referred to in several additional files, such as IP address lists, topic files, PM files, and so on. Changing the login name breaks this continuity; that's why the PDN was invented.

Just out of interest, why are you trying to change a login name?

I definately wouldn't change the login name under ANY circumstances, just change the PDN, it's all anyone sees in the first place. The login name isn't meant to be changed, hence why it doesn't update in the required files.

I definately reccommend changing it back...

I wanted to change the login name because I wanted to give another member this # ..

I'd tell them that if they planned on using that user# that they had to use the login name ... Once again, all anyone sees is the PDN
