Here's the problem. I updated my forums from 6.1.2 to 6.2... And after a few hours of coding in some of the hacks, I decided that I would just keep the old version up instead of having to hack everything again.

So, I went and deleted everything off the server in the cgi-bin and the noncgi directory. Then I uploaded everything again from my backup. However, when I go to the Forums, it doesn't show my forums by category. I can go in to the CP and change the settings to not display the categories on the first page and everything will show up. However, if I go back and set it to display the categories on the first page, everything disappears again.

I'm pretty sure it's a permissions settings. I've chmoded the templates directory to 777, all cgi files in the cgi-bin to 755 and all the variable files to 777...
