Go get it! wink

First, a notice / warning.

If you have added extra profile fields to your UBB, either strip them out using the tool available in the UBB Member Area, or remember to bump up the maxmems value!

smile

BTW, the official release name is "6.1.0 Release", *NOT* Gold. If you call it Gold, I will hurt you. wink

First of all, I'd like to make a note that if you are trying to clean off your keyboard, TRY not to clean the delete key if you have some text entered..

With that said, FINALLY, we have our UBB 6.1's! Due to some testing this weekend, I won't be able to update my hacks for another week, so that should give you guys at least a little bit of a break if you use any of my hacks laugh

Great to hear it's finally out.

Just a Q, what number should we change it to? Like 100 or so?

No, change it to the **EXACT** number of fields you have.

It is there for a reason... it's a safety measure.

I did this and all was fine apart from the ubb_filehandle problem that some kind chap helped me to fix!
I thought that would have been fixed for the final?

Hi,

I have just installed version 6.05 and I have made some changes (which I have documented ;-)) to it. On top of that we have translated the forum.

I now want to upgrade to 6.10. I expected a decsription for this upgrade in the files I downloaded. But I only found a description how to upgrade from release 5.xx. Can anyone help me on this? Where can I find how to upgrade? And, yes, I know I have to make the code-changes again. I do, however, hope to be able to reuse the translations as they are (and the language strings were not only located in wordlets).

Regards and thanks,

Boudewijn

Ehhhhh.... sorry! I just found out that I had to look a bit further "than the lenght of my nose". At the very same page (from which I downloaded my version) there was also a version specific for those that want to upgrade from release 6.0x to 6.10. That's for me!

Sorry for your time. At least you do know of my existence now.

Boudewijn

I know its not supported yet, but I get this error?

The MembersPath I detected, 'q!/home/olr/public_html/cgi-bin/Members!', does not seem to exist. I could not find the memberslist file.

My board runs fine, get new members every day...what happens if I don't use this tool, because I do have extra fields in my member's registration...

Or can you tell me how I bump the maxems value or wahtever..?

Thanks alot!

Try reading them again, more carefully this time. Make sure to follow the upgrade instructions if you're upgrading. And please change your sig image, it's far too large.
