I just finished installing all the 6.05 hacks a system could possible hold. ARGGGGGGGGGGG

I just upgraded from 6.04 to 6.05 when they said that 6.1 would be delayed for a long time, and now it's here.

Oh well, I wanted a way to destroy all of my free time anyway.

With that said, FINALLY, we have our UBB 6.1's! Due to some testing this weekend, I won't be able to update my hacks for another week, so that should give you guys at least a little bit of a break if you use any of my hacks

No, change it to the **EXACT** number of fields you have.

It is there for a reason... it's a safety measure.

I did this and all was fine apart from the ubb_filehandle problem that some kind chap helped me to fix!
I thought that would have been fixed for the final?

I have just installed version 6.05 and I have made some changes (which I have documented ;-)) to it. On top of that we have translated the forum.

I now want to upgrade to 6.10. I expected a decsription for this upgrade in the files I downloaded. But I only found a description how to upgrade from release 5.xx. Can anyone help me on this? Where can I find how to upgrade? And, yes, I know I have to make the code-changes again. I do, however, hope to be able to reuse the translations as they are (and the language strings were not only located in wordlets).

Ehhhhh.... sorry! I just found out that I had to look a bit further "than the lenght of my nose". At the very same page (from which I downloaded my version) there was also a version specific for those that want to upgrade from release 6.0x to 6.10. That's for me!

The MembersPath I detected, 'q!/home/olr/public_html/cgi-bin/Members!', does not seem to exist. I could not find the memberslist file.

My board runs fine, get new members every day...what happens if I don't use this tool, because I do have extra fields in my member's registration...


Or can you tell me how I bump the maxems value or wahtever..?

where do i upload theses??
i know i rename non-cgi to ubb
but what about the rest?

i did but when i finished all i got was an error..

Try reading them again, more carefully this time. Make sure to follow the upgrade instructions if you're upgrading. And please change your sig image, it's far too large.
