Gah! Question... I have the name effects hack in... It changes $showpubliname to $effectsname... how do I make that compatible wih the birthday cake part of the hack?

$effectsname$birthdayfields[3] or something like that.

My calendar isnt showing up in the main boards down on the bottom.

I have seen other boards with todays current events listed with a link to the calander.

Mine just has the text up top. How do I fix this?

Are you sure you've enabled it in the CP? If so, rehack ubb_forum_summary.cgi + public_forum_summary.pl.

I was lazy and used the multi hack <img src="smile.gif" border="0" alt="" />

im not positive that the calendar hack did this but im unsure so i wanted to ask here...

ever since i installed the calendar hack ive lost the cookies that tell the bb the last time a user has visited... such as i visit my board and read all current posts, close the browser and come back and it says ALL posts are new again. im using php accelerator with this board and have calendar, sig hack, sticky threads, and last reply by all installed. any ideas why this would not keep unread post updates now?

The UBB sometimes doesn't save the cookies. Also, make sure you visit the CGI file when you enter your site (not ultimatebb.php). If it never works, load a backup ultimatebb.cgi and rehack, maybe the cookie parts have been deleted.

im NOT supposed to load ultimatebb.php now? i thought thats what i load when i have the accelerator on?

You should never (even if you don't have calendar hack) link to ultimatebb.php for forum summary, it doesn't save cookies. Link to ultimatebb.cgi, and let the forum itself decide when to use ultimatebb.php.

i just noticed that the calendar hack on my board is showing me as turning 102 today, where would i check the age calc for my board?

There must be a little bug in the ssi script. Yearly entrys dosn't display by the script. It show's 'none'

the event will display by the ssi script (removed the 'y'). Do you have the time to look in to this ? Please <img src="smile.gif" border="0" alt="" />

The birthday will be show correct in my calendar.
The calculate of of the age work finde. I use ubb_calendar_ssi.cgi with 5.555 bytes from 19.Dec.2001.

I have update from UBB6.05 to 6.1.0.3 and from old calendar hack V1.6 to this Version 1.9. I have to edit some old user profiles to bring all to work. I replace all old scripts/ templates and rehack the whole UBB.
New user entry's will be correct made.

But it's not only the birthday, every yearly entry will be ignored. I add a test entry for today. 2 events today. My calendar: http://dragon-clan.ognhosting.de/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=calendar

The ssi call will be used on: http://dragon-clan.ognhosting.de/hp.shtml on the right side (Today).

Anything else to help you ?

Update:
I verify this on a fresh an clear installed test version of ubb6.1.0.3. I do this hack, add 3 events for today. One of them as yearly, 2 for today only. with the ssi call only the non-yearly will be displayd.

Found and fixed, upload the new ubb_calendar_ssi.cgi and vars_wordlets_calendar.cgi (atleast the "none" line)
