There really should be a forum that deals with links to information as well as assistance with configuration options like my 2 posts in chit chat dealing with .htaccess or my post for a CRON simultor for Windows. Otherwise posts like that will slowly fade off the screen and be forgotten about

hmmm... we're trying to not add more forums here, there's so many already. Is there one now you see that can be adapted? If some good info is gleaned, a couple paragraphs can be written and posted in our u-zine forum.. we could always CI them to here then

It is just over the years I have seen alot of really useful information that new users might really find useful in reguards to servers, configurations, informative sights, etc.

My only concern would be that threads like those need to be kept at the top and not lost within the many pages of posts so that they can easily be refrenced.

Maybe in the Scripting forum?
