I haven't download the newest beta but it seems there is a problem with the edit function. When i want to edit a topic, there is no text. How is this possible?

It seams that you have not fallow the hack probably

I can think of two things to solve this problem
1- It may be that you have upload ubb_lib_posting.cgi in binary. Tray to download the file again in ASCII
2- in ubb_lib_posting.cgi find

I just went to your test site to test this and the font dropdown and the color dropdown do not work.

Nope wwb, uploaded in ascci and hacked twice from the txtfile. No results.

I have solve it before if you download the hack and tray it in 6.2 it will work

I have visited your site and I found out you have used the move thing that I have done for Caldazar. There was an error in this thing. To solve it do the following

I have had the same problems with the 'edit' problem shown above. I ended up removing the hack. I was told by a user that the buttons didnt load very fast, but I couldn't tell because I was on a cable connection. So after testing it out I also saw that there was a load problem. A possible solution would be if there is a way to remove some of the options? Like through CP or what not, so that buttons that are not really needed don't need to be loaded?

Just Variables has this problem and that is because he did not use the original hack he used my modification which make the ubb button above the text area
Will I could remove some of the button but I need some body to tell me what to remove.
It is very difficult to make the choice made through the cp since the button has to be arranged

Yes I liked the idea of it being at the top and so I used the same one that Variables used which appherantly doesn't work.

Anyhoo, it was just a suggestion I didn't do the hard code so I don't know how difficult it would be for it to be an on/off option from the CP.

if you place a code like

in your signature and you update your profile

the next time you view your profile and want to edit something

the signature appears to be like this

<FONT COLOR="red">text blabla</FONT c>

i think something went wrong there?

in the cp it all looks right

i got a problem when posting double byte characters like chinese and japanese...
for example, i click the italics one and input the double byte character... it will just missing the right hand side code: [/i]

just like this:
[i]the_double_byte_character

i think i found a small prob.
whenever try to post reply with Quote on a post that all ready was replyed with it it comes out looking like this.

but if i use it on a post that has no reply with Quote being used all ready it works just fine.

if you give me your board address I could give you an unsure. I have the similar problem with the Arabic character it dos not like to mix the character with the English one. The problem was wit the direction of the word. I had to translate the code to Arabic.

well i just tried it works well on your test site but i am not sure why it will not work on my test site.
i did hack ubb_lib_posting i just checked it to make sure i did.
i am not really sure what is going on with it.
