Yep done that ive installed tons of hacks before and not had problems like this, believe me ive checked and checked, everthing is spot on.

Well if everything is in place then it should be working and you shouldn't have any problems *heh*. There must be somthing you missed or somthing. BTW your using 6.01 right? Or if not what version?

One other thing did you remember to do the things from both
mod_wordlet_install.txt

smilemod_install.txt?

There is a bug with in the "Instant Graemlins", it's 15x15 even though it's actually 15x22pixels.

for some reason it is not adding it to the Instant Graemlin list , but everything else is working fine

Well then I don't know what to say, you must've did something wrong in the instructions. Another thing you might've done wrong is when you are searching for a certain part of a code somtimes there are more than one that are the same so you have to make sure you get it under the right one. BTW as long as you are having no other problems besides smiles maybe just wait till v0.4 comes out which should be soon I'm guessing and maybe that will fix your problem you are having.

Also the smilies should be in a directory called 'smilies' in your noncgi directory.

Just so you know, the caret symbol will not work for smilies (ie. something like ^_^ or ~_^ won't work).

Question: Do you have any plans on releasing a smilie legend? If not, I believe I'll begin to write my own which I may or may not release here.

it does not appear that you have the mod entirely installed on your ubb. on the post topic page the smilies are not how the mod is done. looks like you missed a step or two.

Smilie Directory Check - Addon
------------------------------

Purpose: Checks whether all gifs in the smilie directory have been assigned to a smilie representation. If not, tells the user he/she hasn't with a "no"!

Download: http://www.qasic.com/ubbhacks/smilieslist.txt

Install Instruction:

1) Open up the downloaded file.
2) Make sure the top line corresponds to your Perl path. If not change it.
3) Save it.
4) Open cp_add_smilie.pl.
5) Find:

&FormStart("$vars_config{CGIURL}/cp.cgi", "$Hiddens");

6) Add BELOW:



(make sure that the & nsbp; and the & #187 get pushed togeter!, i.e, remove the space between them)

7) Save file.
8) Re-upload template to template directory.
9) Rename smilieslist.txt to smilieslist.cgi.
10) Upload smilieslist.cgi to your UBB CGI directory and CHMOD 755.

Done ... You should now see a "Check SMILIE Directory" link whenever you Add a new Smilie. Click it for the veriication process to begin
