I added UBBCode 5 and somethings wrong, when I insert text tags, it doesn't change the text, it shows the tags on the post, but when I add things like url and bold it works fine... what's the problem? Is there a setting somewhere I need to switch to get more ubb code features or what? Please Help!!!

I think he means UBB Code Buttons.
Did you install the "final version"?

Whoops, yeah it's UBB Code Buttons 5, sorry, and I think so, I mean, the codes show up when I click 'em during posting, just that on the thread page, most of the codes like font styles don't show up as anything but like [*font=arial] or [*color=red]. Please help!

Hmmm...Maybe you stuffed the code somewhere, and most of all have u installed the smilie CP hack?

First of all check your UBB block code in ubb_library.pl in the sub UBBCode.

Smilies CP first, I had one from a long time ago, but it still works fine, I just can't figure out what wrong with my ubb code, it's not that the hack doesn't work, it's the code that doesn't... 'cause I have typed it in freehand to check and see if it would work and it didn't still...

I'd say this hack might be in conflict with UBB Code buttons. Do you have any smilies set up on ur Smilie CP?

Like 170 of 'em, I uploaded the new smlie hack and made sure it was configed the same as the old and it was so that shouldn't be the problem...
