Hi all,

I just wrote a hack to add 3 custom titles based on number of user posts. So now it goes from Jr. Member to Member to L2Member, L3, and L4.

The code works fine but I cannot figure out how to get the user profiles to update with the new titles. I can see that field 7 is the number of posts and field 8 is the title in the user profile file. I have tried clearing the cache, rebuilding user stats and history files and rebuilding all forums. Nothing seems to update the user profiles... am I missing something, or is this a bit of code I need to write? If so, can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction?

Finally, is this a hack anyone would be interested in??

Can you post a URL to the readme of the hack you installed please?

This was just done as a mod request from my members. No readme... just did it on the fly. I could probably write one when I get a free minute. What did you need to know?

Seems to be working well so far. As a member posts, his/her profile gets updated correctly. I just want to be able to update them as part of the hack install.

Much obliged. Does the hack look OK? Seems there must be a more OO way of doing the extended selection statements but I just wanted to get it done.

Well, like I said, everything seems to have worked just fine. It is just that the user profile files do not get updated until a user posts. I thought there would be a control panel function to address that but none of them seemed to do the trick.

Should one of them update the user profiles?
