I got a question about the Custom Ranks/Custom Titles hack..my ****ty webserver does only allow me to write into vars_custom_status.cgi when the CGI UBB directory is chmoded 777. Could it cause any later problems if I temporarily set CHMOD 777 for the CGI UBB directory when I update those settings and after that turn it back to 755 ? From my understanding the problem could also be solved by CHMOD 775 which would prevent other people executing the files. But I have never actually read about that permission being used with the UBB
