Ok what this does is puts a bar above each post a user makes and puts the posting icons in this bar.

The small bit of text under 'Misc', right above the IP icon. I've tried messing around with the ip and logged wordlets; but I'm not getting anywhere.

look in ubb_lib_posting.cgi for ip.gif make sure all that is there is the link and the image and nothing else. That will get rid of the | ($ip_divider) and the :, if you do it correctly.

yes those are the hacks, but no this hack does NOT require the aim and icq hack to be installed if you don't want them too. Just take out the $this_icq and $this_aim. I only put it in there because I know alot of people use those hacks.

and it does work with the 6.0 - 6.04f (and most likely every 6 version after that)

Need some help.. any clue what is causing that larger black layer to appear below the posting icons? Also, getting rid of the | : above the IP image. I looked in ubb_lib.cgi as told a few posts up, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

You were in the right file... Look for where you have ip.gif and there should be $ip_divider before it. Delete that and you should lose the |.

as for the black box, make sure there isnt an extra TR tag under my code.

I don't know if it's just my file or what. But in my ubb_lib.cgi, I simply can't find ip.gif or $ip_divider anywhere. Should I send you my file so you can take a look at it?

I did the same thing, and it worked perfectly for me. Check your code over again and make sure you didn't miss a <TR> or <td>

I don't get it at all!! I added it, and the board didn't crash or anything. But my graphics are still there, there is no reference to AIM/ICQ, and my IP link is text. How can I make this one big graphic like the ones in the database? Please help!

The instructions he posted (for 6.04) aren't 100% compliant with 6.1 b/c everytime I hack mine I run into template problems, for users with 6.1.0.x what modifications did you have to make?

Thgat isn't UBB.classic, that's Eve. Completely different product.

You can't edit the tempaltes (XSL) in Eve without being on a dedicated server.
