...How do you guys get the Announcements posted in the Announcements forum to show up on the main page? Is it perhaps some kind of SSI call? I think I would like to possibly incorporate this into a website I am building.

Yep they use SSI, and a Active Threads hack. Not sure which one tho. Might have to ask Allen.

I'd have to check again, but I believe we used the ubbnews with newsessions for the main news in the middle and the stuff on the upper right.

DJCasual's latest threads may be in there somewhere too.. my eyes are beginning to cross check the v6.0x beta forum for both.
