i installed the freeware version successfully on my site (http://hockeyfights.net) i'd like to put ubb within the table i use throughout my site. do i just edit the html i see in Ultimate.cgi? or is it another file? can i use my style sheets? i plan on buying it if i can make it look how i'd like. but right now, i'm cluelss as how to edit it. any basics on where to start?
well, it's a simple table. kind of it's got a top, left column and bottom. all fixed width. then a center that fits in snugly. the code it self is reeeeally long. but that's not really my problem. i don't know what ubb file to edit. and where to. i see some html in the Ultimate.cgi file. can i take that html and surround it so it's inside my table? i mean, is it that simple?
am i making any sense? my brain is fried from work
if i am, and you still want to see my code, you can go to <a href="http://hockeyfights.net">http://hockeyfights.net</a>. or let me know, and i'll post the whole darn thing here
The professional versionhas a header/footer file. You can start the table in the header, and end it in the footer. Therefore -- i recomend buying it in order to do this.
yes, i saw that. and that would partially help. but my main concern is the menu on the left and making it fit inside everything, not taking up 100% of the window. i probably will buy it. the money is worth the time it would take me to learn how to "hack" the code that much. but i'm still curious about getting it into my format. cuz if i can't do that, no ubb

Did you have to hack up the code, or did you simply modify the header and footer to get your page like that? I'd really appreciate it if there was a simple solution to customizing these bulletin boards with some sample header and footer code. As you may have guessed, cgi is not my forte. Thanks in advance for the help.
thor- all i did was have the header and footer code put my ubb in a table. i also have a style sheet that i used in the header of all pages. i don't think i did any code hacking for the appearance.
