Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out..

I am trying to make a "Joke-Of-The-Day" script. What i need is for a cgi/perl program to "include" via ssi the contents of a Text file in a specified directory. I have over 1,000 joke text files, and i want to be able to just place those into a DIR and have this script include its contents thru a SSI tag. Also, I would like for the script to include a diferent file each "day". and then just start back at the begining when it uses all the files in the dir.

The reson for the NOT using the FlatFile DB like ALL other RandomQuote type scripts do, is so that i can just upload txt files as i get them, and the script will just post them when it gest that far down the list.

If i am making any scense at all, and you can help, Please let me know. I will check this post periodicaly, and have notification set.
