Hello Everyone!
If I delete a message, I would like it to DISAPPEAR, not be left with a little marker that says DELETED by admin. To me, that just elevates the profanity the poster posted to a press freedom issue: I don't think that a doofus who wants to say Hey %#&@!!! and &#&!!! should get protected. This is a family show!!
ANyhow, currently, there seems to be no way to NOT have the little deleted left behind. BUT...is there anyway I could go into the database and just surgically remove it, so it WOULD disappear, but the other nice threads would not be affected? If I just deleted ALL reference to it in the database, would that mess up the threading? If so, please can you guys apply the collective mind on a way to eliminate the DELETED BY, so that it disappears completely? Can it be done?
