Now, I will try to explain how to create more istant gremlins:
The files involved are 4 (Backup them):
- ubb_lib.cgi
- public_new_reply_form.pl (Gremlins in reply)
- public_new_topic_form.pl (Gremlins in new topic)
- public_pm_form.pl (Gremlins in private messages)
Open public_new_reply_form.pl and search for:

_____
As you could notice, there is the code that will be filled in the message '  ' to obtain that image: smile.gif
All the lines after this one are the other gremlins, you just need to copy the code of one gremlin and change it with the smile you prefer...
An examle is: ');">
- After you have edited public_new_topic_form.pl, open both public_new_reply_form.pl
and public_pm_form.pl, search for the same lines of public_new_topic_form.pl and copy exacly the work you has done in public_new_topic_form.pl
Ok now we are close to the finish:
Open ubb_lib.cgi, search this line:
sub Smilies {
In this routine you will find a lot of lines like this:
$_[0] =~ s/  /  /isg;
Copy this line and replace with the same name you used in the previous file ex. :love:
and the Cool.gif with ex. Love.gif
Ok, this is enought, new istant gremlins will appear for your messages !!!
